About Sovrana Cane Corso

Sovrana Cane Corso has just moved outside of Athens, Georgia (hour outside of Athens, Northeast) to 10 acres so our dogs have plenty of room to run and play!  Kennels are cleaned every day, dogs are let to run in the fields very often, puppies are played with every day, and they have much more grass to sniff and clean air to breathe in.Sovrana Cane Corso is a hobby breeder although the hobby has gotten quite large.  Dogs are shown as schedules permits, all dogs have stable temperaments, and all dogs have various health evaluations.  Puppies are handled every day from the day they are born and handled as much as possible before going to their new homes.   Sovrana Cane Corso LLC is not liable for anything the puppy or dog does and the buyer assumes all future liability for the dog and its actions.

Prices vary per litter but generally pet quality is $1600, breeding quality is $2000, show prospect is $2400, and pick is $2700.  All puppies come with a 2 year health guarantee including moderate to severe dysplasia, are current on vaccinations including 2 boosters, 4 dewormings, parasite removal, and kennel cough.  Tails are docked, rear dews claws are removed, but ear cuts are optional at $250-$300.  Puppies can be picked up or shipped for $350 via Continental airlines.  Puppies are selected in order of deposit starting with pick, then breeding quality, and then pet quality.  A $500 deposit will hold the puppy until 6 weeks old when the rest is due.  All deposits are nonrefundable, adult or puppy, but if the desired puppy is not produced the deposit will be moved to the next litter for up to 12 months at which point the deposit may be refunded.  Sovrana Cane Corso LLC reserves the right to turn down any business and terminate any pending purchases for any reason with refund provided.  Purchases are not final until signed contracts are returned.

Our females are bred once a year max starting at 2 years old, some are in kennels in the back yard, some are indoor dogs.  All dogs are not hip scored, but judged on balance of body between front and rear with proper proportions of height versus length.  Breeding dogs are chosen on conformation, size, temperament, and movement.  Conformation priorities for this program are size, good muscle, a balanced body, excellent gait, a straight if not descending top line, and a nice head.  A nice head is great, but a nice body is great. 

I show the dogs when time permits and you can see all of their accomplishments under the our dogs pages.  I have a full time job and do this for fun as a (large) hobby so unfortunately I am limited in how many shows I can go to. 

Puppy prices range from $1600-$2700 depending upon pick order, quality, and breeding rights.
